I served as Designer and Project Manager for CFA Designs, an architectural and interior design consulting and project management company representing high-end Italian door, kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe, furniture, and lighting brands. I represented brands including Ernestomeda, Flexform, Tre-Piu, Rifra, Viva Porte, Bertolotto, Pail, Henry Glass, Composit, Europlak, Grattarola, Abimis, Fimes, Busnelli, Cinova, Black Tie, La Murrina, Karboxx, as well as bespoke millworkers.
I developed and executed project management strategies coordinating clients, developers, architects, and contractors to ensure successful execution of our scope of work.
I managed projects from initial client consultation involving project analysis, RFI submittals, schematic design, budgeting, and estimating, to bid and proposal preparation including bid leveling and comparisons of various product suppliers, freight forwarders, and installers, to actual product implementation involving full design development, technical product consulting, coordination of drawings and details with designer/architect/contractor/manufacturer, construction scheduling and field verifications, ordering and international shipping coordination, scheduling and supervision of installation, and punch list/project closeout.
I collaborated with manufacturers in Italy by providing feedback from my field observations and working with them to improve technical details on their products. I also worked with manufacturers in Italy in designing and engineering product details to realize custom designs envisioned by architects. I generated shop drawings through extensive drafting using CAD software.
I was the designer and project manager for many luxury private and multi-unit residential buildings around the US including:
Faena House designed by Foster + Partners (Miami)
300 Collins designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen (Miami)
The Sheffield designed by Cetra Ruddy (NYC)
471 Washington designed by Ben Hansen (NYC)
The Townhouses of Cobble Hill designed by Morris Adjmi (NYC)
V33 at 33 Vestry designed by Archi-Tectonics (NYC)
